Do Christians influence the world or are they influenced by the world? Just imagine a van of Baltimore Christians on their way home from a convention in “Hotlanta” Georgia, get caught in a terrible storm – on a lonely stretch of highway – off the beaten path – (Ok they’re lost and won’t admit it) - and the van begins to break down and - lo and behold - the only place for miles is the “Singing Stockbroker’s Bar and Rooming House”. Tell me, what do you think happens when a group of so-called Christians Soldiers find themselves behind enemy lines? Will they stand and fight the great spiritual battle, or will they declare the battle is the Lord’s, order drinks and slip quietly into that goodnight? Will they put on the whole armor of God or will the women slip into Victoria’s Secret and the men slip out of their clothes? Will they hold up the shield of faith and stand against the fiery darts of the Satan or will they bounce wit it – roll wit it – slide to the left – slide to the right and cha-cha real smooth? Can they band together to make through the night? Will they make through the night? Don’t ask me cause I ain’t tellin’. What happens at “The Stockbroker’s Bar” stays at “The Stockbroker’s Bar” until God moves on it.
