Our ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage a new generation of creativity that reflects the beauty of the African-American culture and our spiritual values. Excellent Productions is a community theater group that was the offspring of the Young Adult Ministry of Concord Baptist Church in 2001. Since then, we have performed plays throughout Maryland that explore the rich African-American culture and the creativity of the African-American playwright. Our ultimate goal is to inspire and encourage a new generation of creativity that reflects the beauty and diversity of the African-American culture and our spiritual values. Through the inspiration of Dr. Matthew L. Jones this organization has moved out into the community, striving to develop the whole individual: Our semi-annual productions go to the heart of the social and emotional development of our community by provoking us to question who we were, who we are and who we will become Excellent Production is member of a 501c3 Organization
